DAMION GOT BAPTIZED :'))))))
It was so incredible this week to watch Damion change his life for good and make covenants with our Father in Heaven. It reminds me of how sacred it is that we are able to be baptized and show our willingness to follow Him for the rest of our lives!! Damion is such a good kid as well, and will do so much good in the Hopeton Branch. We are so excited for him!!!
It was also interesting to see this week how much the adversary works with all those taking part in something as sacred as baptism. He does NOT want it to happen and personally attacks everyone- but good will always conquer!! One thing that we have that will always help us against these personal trials is prayer. We counted this week and realized that on average, we as missionaries pray about 40 times a day. That's a lot of prayers, but each are so powerful and can do so much good. I'm grateful that we pray so often and get to build that relationship with our Father in Heaven.
random fun fact about Jamaicans: they love music and connect so well with it, but are completely tone deaf. It's true. You'd think they'd be better singers because of Bob Marley and everything, but nope! Haha sacrament meetings are quite the audible experience hahaha. But because they connect so well with it, we sing before every lesson and we even sang in sacrament meeting this week. People told us we sounded like a band and should name ourselves "the Swinsons" hahahah. But I love singing a lot and bringing the spirit in super fast! And bonus that Sister Fawson is an incredible singer(:
Well, have a wonderful week!! You are so very very loved!!
